i also hear this question alot on sites and i say the same thing every time... McLaren F1. I always say that and i always will. Even by todays standards of supercars it still ranks in the top. Most supercars a few years after they are built are forgotten about. But most supercars of today are compared to the McLaren and when designers are dreaming up there new creations they have the McLaren F1 in their minds. and companies building the car probably tell their engineers "we want to build a car faster then the McLaren F1".

Also McLaren customer support is definently top notch. nothing compares.
The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you.

I ask, what if comfort is the most important thing for you? The McLaren F1 is really rather rubbish... isn't it?

comfort is nice but its not that important to me... i mean it would be nice but it would be even nicer to be able to brag about having one of the fastest cars ever, instead of bragging about having the most comfortable car.

Wrong. Once you're in the McLaren it is very comfortable. The suspension also isn't too hard and according to all reviews I've seen, it has the perfect bias between performance and ride quality.

But I'm pretty sure it's not as comfortable as a C6...

Obviously havn't sat in an F1 then. It was one of the design breifs. An everyday supercar. One you can spent a long time in. Very comfortable.

My point still stands, if anyone wanted the most comfortable car in the world, the F1 wouldn't be amongs his/her favourites.

true... but best is also overall... so you must include horsepower, rideability, reliability, top speed and many other factors... comfort is a small fraction of the overall package. Look at the Laborghini Muira... nice car and alot people say it was a very good car.. but you did not have very much room to move around. Even the Jaguar E-type considered by many to be the ultimate sports car even though it was not the most comfortable car to drive.

Well then best car should probably be a super saloon. Good performance, comfort, practicality... they have nearly everything.
