    The Maloo is an awesome ride. So cheap, and it can carry all you need... I wish we had them over here!

    I think you guys can, or at least will be able to soon. Tom Walkinshaw wants to get more HSV's over to the UK but not part of the VXR range like the HSV GTO is.

    You do, one took part in that speed run down the London airstrip, and anyway, I've seen heaps of sites about UK HSVs, and they love the utes

    no, Vauxhall only took the monaro and it's variants, the others have to be imported through linden special vehicles or something

    Like Vauxhaul would bother ATM anyway with the all new utes being less than 24 months away.

    It would still be worthwhile. Ford introduced the Focus here with a similar timeframe till the new model, and IIRC Renault did the same with the Clio

    Result: The focus sunk IMO they should have kept the Laser nameplate (it has the herritage).

    The Laser also has a reputation for being a POS. The Focus didnt sink with buyers because of being the late model, the styling simply didnt gel with alot of buyers, there was a lack of an affordable hero model and Ford didnt market it anywhere near enough as they had their plate full with establishing the BA.
