Your 5 Favorite Years For Cars

I was going to ask for your all-time favorite year for cars, but some people (including me) would probably end up listing more than one year.
So, list your 5 favorite years for cars.
    Here is my list...

    1. 1969 (Great, great, great! The height of muscle cars; luxury cars of the era- Cadillac, Lincoln, Imperial- were well-built, large and powerful; high-compression engines, styling and minimal anti-smog equipment choking the engine).
    2. 1970 (A close second- mainly due to the Hemi-'Cuda, 454 Chevelle, 455 Buick GS Stage 1, 455 Olds 4-4-2, and 340 Duster; the last of the RWD Cadillac convertibles).
    3. 1968 (Muscle cars near or at their peak).
    4. 1966 (A large variety of cars).
    5. 1971 (Last year for true, high-compression muscle cars, although some had low-compression by '71)
'76 Cadillac Fleetwood Seventy-Five Limousine, '95 Lincoln Town Car.

    1969 - Because that's the year my dad's 911 was. R.I.P.
1973 - This one is obvious, Carrera RS 2.7.
2003 - The Beast was made this year.
    2007 - Touareg's model year.

having trouble coming up with other years because there aren't any dear to me.

He came dancing across the water
    With his galleons and guns
    Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun
    On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls

I guess you can be excused, then.

But I suggest you take a course in school... 1955-1970 Old School Cars.

Only one that deserves my vote. 1998 purely for the GT1 class. Toyota GT1, Porsche GT1, CLK-GTR, TVR Cerbera speed 12, and the nissan r390 GT1 all give me goosebumps and butterflys when I think of them on the road. Although you probably never will see them on the road.

Well my list was just in chronological order, not #1 through to #5. Otherwise it would've been:

    2001 - Evo 6.5 TME
    1985 - VK HDT SS Grp A
    2006 - VE HSV
    1969 - Camaro
1970 - IIRC last model year of the original Monaro bodyshell

1966 - Lamborghini Miura (Supercar layout fixed)
1980 - Audi Ur Quattro (4WD out of the farms)
1989 - Skyline GTR 32 (Dawn of Japanese domination)

I guess each era from 1910 onwards, there's always a breakthrough till 2000. Where manufacturers went berserk, and since then, most were marketing crap. It's as if phones nowadays, 5MP? 10MP? 20GB? Pointless.

I don't know about exact years, but better decades, my favourites are in no particular order:

-The 30's, probably the peak of car design.
-The 50's, cars start to get interesting again, some fabulous cars built in that period.
-The 60's, fast and good looking.
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
