I have a currency converter at the touch of a button. If you check the exchange rate on Google, then you can work it out.

I read the other day that VW engineers reckon they'd need 2,000 bhp to get their Veyron up to 275mph. I believe that the air resistance increases exponentially with speed.

But I also believe in the loch ness monster, so what do I know.

Also, Audi Man, what do you suppose that extra .70 buys you?

Yeah, but that's the point: they're confident the tyres can run at a prolonged 217mph, but not 225mph. That may only seem like a small difference, but at those kind of speeds, it isn't.

    Wow, that's nuts.

And I was going to post the actual, which was $499,273.703... but I thought that would be nitpicking

Specialised tuning arms like Brabus have completely ruined it for everyone. Yes, I salute them, but then again "Y"?
Top speed has become purely academic, and even if you find a stretch of road worthy of such a feat, you'd probably end up at wreckedexotics.com before your first service. For some weird reason, I'm anti-turbo/Kompressor. Heres to naturally aspirated engines! Cheers!
