    Music and peace.

With all the fighting going on in the Middle East lately, I do have to ask what song's give you hope during a hard time like this. There are many song's that have been made during wars to calm people down, such a "All the Lonely People" by the Beatles and such, but now with so many cultures and genre's, I have to ask what song, by what genre, truly make's you feel glad to be alive and who you are.

    Please express yourself.

A very melodic trance song with nice rolling hi-tunes in a slow tempo,no faster than 120 bpm Maybe with very nice vocals mixed in. Think of Tiesto's UR It was on his well-sold Just Be cd.

A song that makes me feel great?

    OK...

    1) Nice To Know You - Incubus. This is because it's got such a good buildup, the lyrics are great, and at 3:15 you have the best reprise ever.

"I haven't felt the way... I feel today... in so long, it's hard for me to specify..."

    2) Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own - U2. It's mine and my girlfriend's 'song', that we always listen to so we can remind ourselves of what we've got.

"And it's you, when I look in the mirror... and it's you, when I pick up the phone..."

    3) You Think I Ain't Worth A Dollar, But I Feel Like A Millionaire - Queens Of The Stone Age. Long title, but it's a brilliant song. It just pumps me full of adrenaline, makes me want to go out and beat someone up. I like it for all the wrong reasons. It's my hooligan song.

"GIVE IT SOME MORE, GIVE IT SOME MORE!!!"

There you go. My Top 3. I'm very musically based...

Wow, I didn't know that's even known outside Finland. You might be bothered knowing the meanings of their lyrics
...or then you're just into that kind of music , I myself find lots of metal music relaxing though it usually works better for getting in the opposite mood.

Oh, and the correct title is "Verta ja Lihaa"

Yeah, Oh Canada is better, .

    Oh Canada
    Our home and native land,
    True patriot love,
    In all our son's command.
    With glowing hearts,
    We see the rise,
The true north strong and free,
From far and wide, Oh Canada,
We stand on gaurd for thee!
    God keep our land,
    Glorious and free.
Oh Canada we stand on guard for thee.
Oh Canada we stand on guard for theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

    Hockey Time!
