The DBR9 is Aston's LeMans racer as The 550 GTC is Ferrari's LeMans racer.

Sorry I thought you were referring to the stock DB9. No the DBRS9 is a more short distance racer, the DBR9 being made for long distance event's like LeMans.

Yes the DBRS9 looks more like a stripped DBR9. Like the DBR9 hasn't already been stripped...

The DBR9 is the full "works" car for serious top-flight GT1 racing.

The DBRS9 is intended as more of a gentleman-racer car and for lower series, and is significantly cheaper than the DBR9.

The DBRS9 shares more parts with the DB9 than the DBR9, and I think it does without carbon brakes and a few other bits and bobs found on the DBR9.

Yeah that's what I meant, because I see the DBRS9 on the Speed GT world series all the time. Thanx for going in depth CoventrySucks.

It is the opposite of what you said though.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

The DBRS9 is simply a watered down version of the DBR9. Both cars can do exactly the same thing, the DBRS9 just does it cheaper and slower. Like what Coventry said, not what 6speed said. It can do the same events as the DBR9 it just costs less and wont be as quick.

We can't blame Clarkson for all of the bullshit that comes out of his mouth. We also have to blame the scriptwriter for Top Gear, who happens to be the founder and editor of satirical automotive website 'Sniff Petrol'. Now feed my beauties, FEED!
