GT4 Online

I thought we could give this a try, since GT4 has a LAN mode. I can create a LAN over the internet with Himachi, where people can connect to it and do private LAN games online. It just might work on GT4.

If anybody's interested in a little testing on this weekend, let me know.

hamachi is used alot (unfortunately for illegal means seeing as most cracked games to LAN but not net multiplayer), although im unsure of getting GT4 to join a network (remember the IP of a hamachi network doesnt start with 192, so that might hinder you a bit!)

it doesn't work through hamachi, it does however, work through xlink kai.(google teamxlink), it can be fun when playin with 6 people that have good connections.

there should be an old post about me talkin about this, not many were interested though.

i've made a tutorial for it a while agoo (xlink that is)

it works, but you need to be on something like teamspeak for all the handlings you need to do. And you have to have pings lower then 50ms towards all players, because it will lag otherwise (and with lag i mean screenfreezers for everyone)


it can be allot of fun however, i've spend many hours racing Peroen through xlink, and it makes for awesome fun!
