the sil is in the shop was running low on oil, stalling out on me when i was coming to a stop (with clutch in!) and making a very weird pinging/knocking noise when i let off the accel abit, typical "low on oil" stuff, but my friend filled up the oil for me while i was talking to a teacher about what we were doing instead of studying, he overfilled it by a long shot.. and yeah, so its in the shop to get drained and have everything checked out for the green slips anyways.
im glad its in there getting fixed, but i want to drive it!

Believe me - getting it fixed is frustrating when you've only just got it.
5 days off the road for Claudia to get her Fuel lines redone and fix her Speedometer

Stupid European Cars....Stupid Engine Mounts....Stupid $126 Tyres....
<cough> www.charginmahlazer.tumblr.com </cough>
yes old euro cars aren't exactly a paragon of reliability.. but $126 a tire doesn't seem that bad? last time i let my friend get the tires for me and i had a $600 bill, he had to sign a waiver to promise not to go the maximum speed they were rated for in a corner or somethingOriginally Posted by IBrake4Rainbows

$126 is a lot of money for a struggling yr. 12 student to come up with without parental assistance.
Esp. when my father was pointing me towards "WhuFlungYouOffRoad" brand Cheapies.
Gotta have the reasonable best for Claudia, she deserves it

true, when i was in grade 12 i probably couldn't afford the petrol let alone the tires...Originally Posted by IBrake4Rainbows
and cheap tires suck hell, i have pirellis on the mazda now, for no good reason when i think about it except that i really hate cheapie tires and pirellis were going for $110 that week
edit: i'll see if they have pirellis for that price still, maybe they have some to suit your car

If it was knocking low down in the engine under load, there is a fair chance you may have lunched a big end or main Which may mean bottom end rebuild. You got a new car and didnt check oil, water, etc WTFOriginally Posted by whiteballz

If it's your first car, it's pretty good. Also, how much did you buy it for(you don't have to answer that)?Originally Posted by whiteballz
