Never own more cars than you can keep charged batteries in...
80 km/h
Not too bad since it was my first time driving a car yesterday.
Horrible car though.
1993 Golf chico 1.3L I had to switch to 4th gear (only has 4) at 65 km/h.
Well congratulations on your first drive, and welcome to UCP! A first drive is a watershed moment in one's life surely - a rite of passage for many.
You crashed into a frozen-mayonnaise statue of Paul Martin.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
I drove back home from the driving school, I guess.
No guardrails, fences, gates, dogs or pedestrians were hurt in the process.

I don't have a license though lol. I'm taking my learners test on the 20th of september.
For what it's worth I didn't eat anything at the KFC :P My dad was hungry.
Edit: Don't know where to say this but my uncle told me he'd buy me a ford escort! The old shape, he was a bit drunk though so I don't know if it's viable information haha.
It's a mark 2 Escort I think.

MK2 Escort? Say yes, immediately. A great way of learning rear wheel drive driving dynamics at low speeds.

Visca Catalunya!
My first licensed drive was also my first solo drive.. it was in an '82 Ford Courier Diesel, going to uni. I'd skipped a lecture the previous day to get my license.
Life's too short to drive bad cars.
My licensed solo drive, was in a supercharged green thing.

Well I don't know much about that as I thought my sisters Golf was FR too :P
I only recently found out that city cars = FF and anything with a bit of speed = FR. Though that may be a rather vague discription.
I read up on Ford Escort mk2's and apparently their parts are relatively easy to replace as well.
To add my bit to this thread my fastest drives were at different times of ownership, in my two "Teutonic Beasts" my 1986 560SEL and my 1996 S600. The speed was somewhere between 150-160 MPH on my favorite piece of back road.
My current E350 has just managed 130+MPH on the same stretch of road.
I will deny I have said that to any Law enforcement monitoring this thread.
Here is the S600 just before I traded it for the E350;
Little tractor sailed up to an indicated 140 as well. And maintained 135mph easily.
Mind you the instant fuel consumption indicator read 13L/100km...

My first drive my father was so nervous his hands were shaking. They shook bad enough that he accidentally threw away the food tray while trying to throw away the trash from our pre-drive stop at Wendy's. I just drove around the streets of a neighborhood that was just going in (streets but no houses yet) and then the 2 miles back to my house. He still hasn't calmed down much.
My first fully licensed drive was actually going up to go offroading.
Pffft. I don't even get that kind of consumption when driving over 60mph.
Big cities suck
