    well i mean i don't know of a (commercial) speaker that could go into the RF range, as they are a fair way apart

    No, sound is not in the electromagnetic spectrum.

    So a speaker is designed to transmit or receive sound , not electromagnetic radiation.

    Most automotive wireless application operate near 315 MHz or 434 MHz, and that is the UHF part of the EM spectrum.
