Yes those are the test mules for the 997 FL, FL stands for facelift. At least that's the official line. And anyway the 997 is too new to get the replacement yet.

I like the look of this 911. Keep it around for a while. Classy yet sleek. Very effective.

The styling changes will be minimal. Amongst them are supposed to be led tailights and the led foglamps (like the Turbo). On the mechanical front direct fuel injection which will result in more power and less fuel consumption.

A shame it wasn't a popular car, it's carreer was pretty short and completely overshadowed by its Group 4 counterpart. Would've been interesting to see what could have done against the early 935's if it had been developped further.
