An earlier hint could be misleading ....
I *think* this is the badge from the English company but the main company is German and VERY multinational !!
So maybe the badge is the German firm. .... sorry.
( I'll go try to find out in the meantime ...... )

This is very confusing. It's certainly not the VW badge, and I can't think of any other German company that would have a factory in the UK since BMW withdrew.Nope.
