You couldn't have been more vague. You have to specify what is meant by " better."

None Fiat Italian cars are usually better than their German equivilant in all but handling, performance and reliability.

The last italian lambo was the Diablo so it should be German. I really like the modern Ferraris and the Zondas though.

VW has owned lambo for a while now. 1998, if I recall correctly, was the year they aquired it. before that it was owned by megatech(malaysian), until 98
until 94 it was owned by Chrysler(American)
from 80 until 87 it was owned by the Mimran bros(French)
before the mimrans it was owned by two Swiss investors whose names escape me. Point being, by your logic, if I understand it proprerly, the last Italian Lamborghini was the 73 Countach

I'd take German cars all the way.

Limo with 612bhp, anyone? Or maybe a supercar with 605bhp? Maybe a grand tourer with 627bhp? Perhaps sir would like an estate car with 480bhp. And another with 507bhp.

Then you've got the overall air of quality from (most) makes. I love sitting in Audis. They radiate quality, solidity, maybe not verve as much... but they feel nice. Porsche interiors are wicked-bad, particularly the Cayenne's.

Handling- not really many problems from any of the marques. Otherwise they wouldn't be so popular. You can have edge from BMW, sure-footedness from Audi or laid-back qualities in Mercedes. Or just out-and-out amazing from Porsche. Whatever.

This may sound old-gitlike, but they're also really practical. As a musician, I like practical. I also like subtlety, so I can pull up next to some ricemobile at the lights so they can play "Spot the boot badge" with me.

They both have their strong points, Italy has the most jaw dropping super cars, Germany the best super sedans.
