They certainly both respond well to FI, the Ford 5.4 boost is relly the only way to go as if you want to change cams heads etc its gets pretty expensive compared to the LSX motors.
Im trying to get the older brother interested in one for his xr8 ute, as his son has a xr6t ute with a chip and hoses him fairly easily. I told him for fairly cheap dollars a cappa or nizpro kit would fix up that problem.

Yep that sounds like the VE it's on utube i think?.HPF has done one already, its runa 11.1 @ 129mph on street tyres. Those LSx motors really love a little boost.
