Its also only a damned concept. Concepts are only there to gauge opinion on something. Holden could probably have spent half as much as they did making a simple show piece rather than something built on existing running gear.

The only reason I think they do that is that the concept hasn't had any tests to prove how it drives over 40km/h. They don't want to go any faster and then end into a wall, do they?

They built the concept, of course they would know how it responds at a high speed. The likelyhood of a professional hitting a wall in a proving ground is very, very low.

    Well done on 200 posts.

I think you guys are getting confused between a concept and a prototype. A prototype is what you build if you want to actually do testing and development. A concept is what people ooo and aaahh over.

They're concepts, chances are that maybe 20-40% of the parts are one offs.

Concepts are set up as something to look at. In terms of driving, they might have zero steering response, the actual structure of the efijy would come into question, I heard it has no supportive pillars. Remember, the only 'driving' they do is rolling on and off trucks. It's not designed for driving, rather for looking at.

Fpv, i very well know the difference between a concept and proto.
