They built the concept, of course they would know how it responds at a high speed. I think you guys are getting confused between a concept and a prototype. A prototype is what you build if you want to actually do testing and development. A concept is what people ooo and aaahh over.

They're concepts, chances are that maybe 20-40% of the parts are one offs.

Concepts are set up as something to look at. In terms of driving, they might have zero steering response, the actual structure of the efijy would come into question, I heard it has no supportive pillars. Remember, the only 'driving' they do is rolling on and off trucks. It's not designed for driving, rather for looking at.
