I've never seen it before, but given the fenders and chrome I now have a better understanding of why us Yanks won the Cold War...

you'd better take that back you sum'bich.

Actually, I guess my humor doesn't translate. Anytime I say anything about America that's not stemming from the sentimental portion of my brain I usually intend to be funny.

Of course we didn't win the cold war, unless you take the cynical stance that the cold war ended with the successful construction of a McDonald's in Red Square:

    Russia

Note that at the bottom of the Web site there's a clickable link entitled "choose another country."

Sadly, it doesn't connect you to a site where you can apply for a visa...

That being said, I was taught in elementary school that Ronald Reagan won the cold war when he ordered the Berlin Wall torn down.

Here are some pictures of Ronald Reagan. As you can see, America knows how to pick 'em, and they don't get any better than "The Gipper."

Food for thought: What if Rock Hudson, depicted below Old Dutch in the Camel advert, had run for President? Would he have won?

    What about the Collie Dog?

Rumors swirled earlier this year that Arnold Swartzenegger (you spell it then.) was thinking about throwing his hat into the ring. As it turned out, Fred Thompson (the guy who said "shit sandwich" in Flight of the Intruder) did.

Lord have mercy, how'd we even get these britches on?

    Rock Hudson was supposedly gay.
