I haven't used it myself, but aparently for some people, IS (and VR IIRC) lenses can make people feel unsteady, dizzy, or even nauseous, due to the image staying relatively stationary in the VF whilst you move a little, and worse if you shoot with both eyes open.

Pentax's also tilts forward and back, but it isn't a mechanical system, it's operated electromagnetically.
