Lamborghini Murciélago (II) LP640 Roadster 2006-2010

Lamborghini today presented the Murcielago LP640 Roadster at the Los Angeles auto show. The car is a convertible version of the powerful LP640 variant, which was first introduced in coupe form in February.

The car is powered by a 6.5-litre V12, longitudinally mounted behind the driver. The engine's increased displacement means output jumps to 631 hp at 8,000 rpm. As with the coupe, the carbon fiber exterior has been enhanced with sharper lines, new 18-inch rims, and 13.5 inch-wide tires. The interior has also been revised for increased comfort.

It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

I think I was first, I made it on the same day the V8 Vantage Roadster images where released, but I'll make a new one soon.

I would probably get the roadster. The way the windows and all that are shaped...Its just so cool! In a batmobile type wicked type way. And I'd love the hear myself cutting through the wind.

But then. I've just started driving. Got my learners...I was going 80 on my second drive. It scared the shit out of me. This looks great, but I couldnt drive it! I just couldnt! I dont understand how anyone could! I went 90 or so today, wasnt so bad. I'm getting better! But yeah, the thought of driving this at the moment scares me.
The joys of learning to drive.

:O Australians! Victorians! After the ads, Ch10, LA motor show coverage. It might be there.

EDIT: Nah...nothing about the Lambo. Just other stuff...boring...

This car is great. My only criticism goes the bloody steering wheel. It's ugly and uninspired. Looks like something you'd find in any econobox.

Yeah, you're right. Could they have taken it off of an Audi/VW?

Well, in all other things, it does look very good.

Looks different to the standard Merci wheel - which whilst plain and a bit small at low speeds is incredibly communicative and direct at higher speeds.
