Man this thread is funny. I'm an american, not necessarily average but many would say I'm fat and I am pretty lazy. Evolution is a theory but so is gravity. I haven't really figured out how to fight my way out of that paper bag yet, but then again like I said there's the whole fat and lazy thing.
My bet is the Subaru will win the day, you should do a 1/4 mile and then autocross as well. Going to a road course, long track may not work because your driving skills may be light years apart. Several shorter runs might give a better picture. That would actually be pretty fun but this doesn't sound like one of those fun rivalries, it sounds like one of those toxic, teenage rivalries, like arguing over who discovered the latest cool band first.
