    I'd buy a Lotus Elise or a used E39 BMW M5.

EDIT: Can you get an Ariel Atom for that money?

Keisuke Takashi style RX-7 with the RedSuns sticker on the rear fender, a Fujiwara Tofu AE86, a Audi A3 with Quattro AWD and all the options, or a Lexus IS500.
    sigh... so many choices...

    $23,990: Mk5 GTI, Package 1, 6-speed, black. Daily beater.
Rest: VR-T, 6-speed, Quaife LSD, repaint, Euro bumpers, Abt lip and sideskirts for the Uber Dub. Make it a weekend/show car only.

Anything left over: Hookers and blow.

Edit: Haha, an Alfa. Reliable. Good one, Exige...

I like Johnny's plan. The Roth IRA(minus 9000 dollars) is a good way to go then I'd wait till I have enough for a Noble. If your wondering what that 9grand is for, well, I simply must have a '74 TVR and a set of spax.

AUD$56k with the stipulation that it must be spent on cars?

Too easy. I'd sell my existing car (Benz V8) back to myself for $56,000 thus realising a gross profit of $53k which I'd then be able to dedicate towards those more important aspects of life

Otherwise .. why not a new or near-new Nota F1 road car - which btw delivers a superior power/weight ratio to the MacLaren F1

I'd get an STI so I could still drive in the snow and save the rest for mods/other things.

I'd get a set of winter tyres (I never buy winter tyres normally) and put the rest in the bank. I don't need a new car at the moment. I'll replace mine when it brakes down.

Good luck trying to find anything more than nail for that price. You're looking at 15k+ for a rust-free one. £6k might get you a fairly tidy bay window, but nothing special.

    And the £27.5k? Hmm.

    VX220 NA: £11k

And the remaining 16.5k on a slightly nail-ish 350Z, E46 M3 or Z3 M Coupe. Probably the latter. Or maybe an MG ZT-T V8 for some practicality.

I'd probably get an A3 2.0 tdi or a Civic 2.2cdti fully loaded... you gotta love Portugal's car taxes.
