Because unforunately I have no original material.

Would you like this reply better?

I prefer the styling of the Audi over that of the Alfa. I also like that the Audi has more power stock, and there is more room for improvement than the Alfa. It is quicker, faster, and weighs less; indicating it should handle better.

I dunno. Both are evenly matched. I'll pick the Alfa, just because we don't get them here.

BTW, isn't Alfa Romeo supposed to come back to the Americas?

the audi PR guys claim of course that the new TT styling has improved. For me it is still an ironed new Beetle....

Knew that was going to happen! lol

    Also

I like the Brera styling, but I still prefer the Audi TT

If I was buying one of the 2, it'd HAVE to be the Audi anyway... I just can't do Alfas! They don't make cars for tall people!

I love the Alfa except for one thing, the weight. When they sort that out it'll become a fabulous car.

On the other hand I like the TT's alumium technology. The Alfa is still a little bit ahead I think...

Is the new TT built on the MK5 chassis? I would think it is, but I'm not sure.

Don't you think that sometimes otherwise sane UCP'ers take the ricer piss takes too far and start becoming what they despise themselves? Can't you contribute to a single thread without the "autoxbonne 1.8T swap can nevAr lo0se!!11!" comments?

Anyway, back to the subject: I like the Alfa's front-end styling but I don't see what all the fuss is about concerning the back of the car. It's just a hatch! I'd prefer the saloon 159, it's more elegant. The Brera looks too bloated, like someone stuck a huge piece of clay on the back when they couldn't be arsed to finish the design, then added some creases and lines with a ruler. The Alfa GT looks much sexier and supposedly drives better too.

Evo magazine seems to agree with this view and I'd tent to take notice of their opinion that the Brera is the biggest disappointment of 2006. Performance figures show it's lacking when compared to rivals, and reviews by various testers unanimously criticise the driving experience.

The TT on the other hand has come on leaps and bounds. Audi are working a kind of magic at the moment, I'm really liking the styling of their cars. The TT is sharp, stylish and bang up to date. I don't think a solid red (referring to the above picture) is it's best colour though and the car in the above picture looks very basic. A pearlescent red could look very classy. The silver, white, black and blue coloured cars I've seen look the business. And getting down to business is the new chassis, which Car and Evo seem to think is a massive improvement over the old with the base 2-litre being just as good as the Quattro handling wise, albeit still lacking the ultimate "character" or "fizz" that would make it the perfect small coupé.

The interior is almost perfect though. Audi build quality meets their new design characteristics; the flat-bottomed steering wheel and new centre console look awesome, the only thing I'd have liked to be carried over from the old car is the grab handles on each side of the console itself.

I think that makes a conclusive vote for the Audi then chaps.

Clearly he cannot. However, I've accepted it because Quiggs shows an ability to also post useful coherent replies, which is always nice.

As for my response, I'd have to go with the TT. Both look great, however the TT has the performance edge, as well as an Audi interior; and Audi interiors truely nEvAr lose.
i was waiting on a moment, but the moment never came. all the billion other moments, were just slipping all away. i must have been tripping, we're just slipping all away. just ego tripping.
