    FORD F350 Safari Expidetion

Ok, I took this from the orig of the TONKA Ford concept truck. Now I understand that some of you here live in Europe and may not be able to relate to a "House on wheels" look like this, but please make an effort to "keep it clean" with your comments this time OK >?

I'm afraid "keeping it clean" is going to be hard but I'll try....

-Even though you claim blurring to be your style, realism is at stake. I see your doing an "Advice chop" in another thread. Take this advice: No blurring, use burning/dodging instead or maybe re-sampling.

-That 'house' on the back looks like a box. Especially that small window on the roof. A chop should be consistent, and it seems the front is curved and the back is square and box-y.

-That chick decal on the side panel does nothing for the chop. It even down-rates it. Please keep un-necessary decals / background objects out of your chops as it does nothing for your work.

-Come up with a new Stingray Studios logo. The current one is too busy and doesn't much justice for your business. It is also very annoying in your chops.....

EDIT: At least the wheels, side skirt, side-mirrors, windscreen and the front bumper have kept there crisp-ness, I can commend you on that.

I'm afraid this is a signature, a very pathetic one.

Yes,...it was based on "Tonka Toys"...a popular brand of toy trucks here in the USA.

uh, ANS ...yep thats her. Game hunting !

as for the blur comment, ....there is no smudge no blur added to this pix....???
I'll look in to doing more with the tools you suggested, but this was all just brushed in.

I could have curved the back window on top ...but it looked really funny when I did it so stuck with the BOX shape as that is the general shpe of this truck anyway.

...& the LOGO, ...sorry man....it Stays.

The blurring isn't bad here, actually, it's pretty sharp. It's more the quality of the original than what MDM did to it.

The decal is awful, though, both in that it's ugly and doesn't look real.

Nice ! The last thing is the grill's edges, it's kinda sharp to the overall chrome and steel bits of the car, especially the headlamps that contrasts so strongly. Mod that and you're done.

you mean take down the glow in the lights, and define the hood line better at the grille or dechrome it more or alltogether ????
