Lambo Race scene...

Cuz I hate it too when peeps go off and cant back up thier comments...here is MY Backup, when I see a race scene, I want to FEEL the Air between me & the cars, Smell the rubber and fuel burning and Hear the engines screaming !

Here are 2 seperate samples of what I mean, used the exact same Lambo as seen here on the other thread for this one, not really all finished up nice yet tho, but you can already feel the speed in it, the other one is a "day for night" canvas painting.

Now I am not arguing that these are any better than any other, but they certianly are no worse, as art is subjective these are definately real paintings and to ME they look Right, and feel like real race !!.

Surprise. They're way too blurry, off colour, poorly shaded, off scaled, out of proportion and with awful perspective. The first one is poorly blurred and filtered that I'm not able to give you a proper judgement, except that it's ugly and poorly executed.

By the way, I feel no emotion whatsoever coming from either.

Why did that one sell for 150 times more than most of your other photoshops ($20 each)?

Also, photoshops are NOT paintings! If anything, you could call yours photographs, but I don't think you are the photographer.

He was proving a point. It actually meant something. I can't remember his name at the moment though.

MDM's work doesn't inspire any thought or emotion. It isn't art, at least not in the classical sense. It ends up that it's nothing more than second or third rate graphic design done by someone who seems a little full of himself. I don't have a problem with MDM, I just think that he needs to accept and implement everyone's advice.

NOT. I would then be making work that looked like everybody else. Over 100,000 people, so far basically disagree with your assesment too, & I have yet to launch the TV shows and regular racing perfromance exhibitions ....We are the leading auto art studio in creative Digital Painting.
So you do the Math, ....there are several Major Corporations who already have, and are on board with us in the Studio Art ventures .

So how's that being "full of oneself" when it is just fact.
