I am more of a fan of English cars, but, as far as American manufacturers go, Ford takes the cake. I can pretty much forgive their current line-up on the grounds of the the Mk1 Escort(brilliant car) alone. I do agree that this is not a good looking car, but if they put a qulaity interior in it and got rid of the chrome, it could be decent looking.Originally Posted by cmcpokey

I'm rather dissapointed. I would've hoped for a whole redone design, not just a facelift. It's the next generation, 'Gillet Triple Blade Razor' look for Ford meets the last generation 'Boring, but efficient and cheap' look for Ford, with meh results.

I seem to recall the old one wasn't really a bad looking car, if alittle bland. This one's just nasty.
I do hope the Gillette look doesn't make it over to European Fords. I don't think it will.
