The F1 circus was back to the daily grind today in Indianapolis, just days after the thrills and spills of the Canadian GP past Sunday. The busiest man on the track in the first practice session was 19 year old Sebastien Vettel, standing in for Robert Kubica in the BMW, who has been ordered to sit out this race by the FIA's medical team after his horror smash in Montreal. Vettel certainly impressed by taking P4, beaten only by the two McLarens and BMW teammate Heidfeld.
Fernando Alonso dispelled the talk of Indy being his bogey track with a comfortable first place ahead of Heidfeld, and then Lewis Hamilton. The Ferrari's are still looking a little bit off the pace of the McLarens and BMWs, just as they were last weekend.
