Nice work, just keep shooting and learning, thats what I did when I was on my schools newspaper. I loved shooting sports, that was my specialty.

This thread is about SPH's photos, not a discussion on politics/school budgets.

Back to the point, very nice photos. I've always enjoyed the work that you post.
i was waiting on a moment, but the moment never came. all the billion other moments, were just slipping all away. i must have been tripping, we're just slipping all away. just ego tripping.

Doesn't he go to a private school?
He came dancing across the water

    Looking for the new world

    On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls

    thanks for the comments.

i go to a public school, in a relatively wealthy suburb, a huge chunk of the population being young professionals with kids brining in 300k or more, which means we have an exceptionally well funded school system.

    I own a 300D, wich i recently replaced with a 20D. I have a canon 70-200 f4L and a cheapo sigma 28-90 3.5-5.6, and a 420ex flash. The equipment i use at school is a 20D, 5D, 10D, 17-55 f2.8 IS, 24-105 f4L IS, sigma 17-35 f2.8-4, 70-200 f2.8 IS, 1.4 extender, a 580ex flash.

theres some other stuff like some more dslrs and a million p&s that other people use.

most of this was purchased before i joined this year, but it is kinda rediculous how much stuff we have.

we need a lot of high resolution images for the backgrounds which extend over two pages, which means they need to be 18" by 12" at 300 dpi. we can get by pretty well with interpolating images from the 20Ds but this is better.
