We are not dependent on Chelsea," Valckx asserted. "And we do not want to become so."

There have been claims that PSV are regarded as simply a feeder club for the English champions - highlighted by the fact that Brazilian defender Alex was bought by the Blues then loaned back to the Eredivisie outfit.

Dutch FA president Jeu Sprengers said: "At this moment I do not believe that there is a common affinity between the two clubs."

However, Valckx is firm on the issue. "The relationship is continuing [to be fruitful for both parties]."
Seriously shocking, but not bad... I wouldn't mind it, could lead to a great situation for our team

    But no stability ?
Every time a player improves and is worthy of playing in a proper league then Chelsea will pull them to their squad !!!!!

They are already doing that by buying half of the good players in Europe...

The good thing is that they will bring a lot of money to Eindhoven. I think they want to make PSV a club that will serve as a 2nd Chelsea. So some big players could get to here, together with some young talented players...

So what will happen with Chelsea then? If that carries on as normal, wouldn't like to see the two meet in the Champion Leauge final

Thats bull. A PSV fan of all people should know that its not BIG players who make a great team.

And I am pretty tired of always hearing Chelsea being bashed left and right. Sure they bought a lot of new players in the first two years but their squad has been stable the last year and a half or so. Its not like Chelsea are the only ones, Ac Milan, Man U, Barcelona etc... are just as bad.

Chelsea has become the team everyone loves to hate, its become fashionable to hate Chelsea.

PSV frankly are a feeder club to alot of clubs, due to their amazing youth development. Ronaldo, Van Nistelrooy, so many others who play a season or two with PSV then get snapped up by a bigger club.

And the power of PSV is that after some of the better players leave, they somehow find a way to find new players and stay good. A few years back some very good players left the team (van Bommel, Vogel, Kezman) they we're the deciding players in the team. PSV bought some new ones and they become the league champions and had a decent year in the Champion's League...
