Money can't buy you friends, but you do get a better class of enemy.
I agree with McReis, a bit of fill flash would've made it brilliant, but still a great shot Rob!

bloody heck how did you manage that shot were you in a moving car? if anything the rarity makes that a good shot.

No. He just runs very fast.
Here we go again...Originally Posted by Cotterik

Both cars holding steady, a steady pair of hands, and a fast shutter I imagine.
These are from a local Canberra shooter I know:

Well to compensate, I wouldn't vote him because of the car...Originally Posted by McReis

IMHO I think the lighting is perfect, since you can still see all the contours down the driver side. It might be a difference in monitor settings too. Just a thought.Originally Posted by McReis

Nice shot rob. was this a drive specifically for media to shoot it on the move or did u just come across it? can we expect to see some more of your pics from the festivities?

My sideways action photos became a joke here because, for months, I have always entered pics of different cars, in different places, going sideways. Apparently that is boring for some.Originally Posted by <AAA-MOD>

I arranged that personally with Jim on Friday. I knew when he would be leaving, so we stuck around Moroso until then. He cooperated real nice down the Beeline, and it thankfully didn't end up like a Princess Diana incident. My buddy was driving our rental Jeep, so I got shots out the back and out the side. Lots more shots of it to come next week. There will be a report on the Cavallino Classic, and the Palm Beach Supercar Weekend next week when W returns from the french fluffy stuff.Originally Posted by SPHFerrari

I was implying that the rarity of it makes it a good shot, I wasnt saying its a bad photo. Infact I can list other things that are good about it, just the fact that its a car many people wouldnt get the chance to photo strikes me first.Originally Posted by McReis
Not all my criticism is bad
I don't mean you are saying it's a bad photo. I just think the rarity of the subject ahs nothing to do with the quality of the shot. If it's a good photo it's because it's well done. I see no rarity on shooting a car in movement, and since the car is not what we're voting for...Originally Posted by Cotterik
