We are literally handing over tons of money to contractors who then build useless crap or spend it on weapons and vehicles that we can't account for.

On top of that, we have a select list of companies where we can order things from. This means that without any competition, they can charge any price they want for any item, and the Government will cough up the money (such as the several thousand $ mini refrigerator)

I would predict you woudl get 1/4 of the way in and then the territory and weather would end the advance and the use of the terrain would make it very expensive. Think RUssia in the 40s and Afghanistan when it was a "country"

i was thinking much the same thing. we dont particularly like the cold. especially canada levels of cold.

i am very not serious about the possibility of invading canada. for as much as we try to preach not invading innocent countries (don't start about iraq.. cant answer for that one) it wouldn't be very right to do. plus i know i wouln't want to invade canada, then we would have to deal with more canadians than we already do. and they are weird people. with their funny accents and all.

thankfully i have not... but they are really just southern canucks... i think the united states should really stop on the north side of PA, and thats even questionable. of course we'll also take new england, because of history and such, but with the excepton of maine, because they are weirder than canadians.
