between the Porsche 996 and the porsche 911?????
between the Porsche 996 and the porsche 911?????
Well there is no difference, 996 stands for the model. 996 is the number for the latest 911 model. the model before that one was the 993, the model before that the 964, and they are all 911's.
it's just like the Volkswagen Golf, there is the Golf I, II, III, IV but they are all a Golf.
its just to know what model is it, year like bmw example e36, e46 etc
exactly
ok
thanks pfor the replies

p/s: I Love the Murcielago!!!

BAZOOKA EXHAUST
I would not have omitted the 901, 904, 906 and the 908. And yes I know that the 901 continued as the 911, but only because Peugeot had the rights on numbers with an 0 in the middle. Obviously Peugeot did not mind Porsche using such numbers for racing or GT cars. Favourite stock Porsche? 2000 Carrera GT. (based on the 356)
