i gotta admit it looks great in dark blue
in fact i've seen one in that color in reality but under artificial light; i think that's why i wasn't impressed by it then
funny thing is maserati is using same paints as ferrari but they've got different names
12 cylinders or walk!
that second picture is amazing
thx for a new wallpaper
Oooooooooooo that's nice. When will car companies realise, don't bother making your concepts silver or whatever, just make it dark. Preferably black, but dark blue works as well.
Black isn't a colour; it is the absence of colour, it absorbs the light.
That means that all of the surfacing, the subtleties and details are lost completely.
Look at post #78, pic #3 - you can't see anything of the lower half of the car because it is just a big patch of dark - you can only see the areas of the car highlighted by reflections.
That effect is diminished somewhat if you are viewing the car in the flesh because you can move around the car, but in poor light conditions (motorshows) and static photography it is unavoidable.
What is the point of producing a show car to "show off" a new design if you then hide it under a veil of blackness?
You might as well just look at the car's shadow.
The first one is my favorite... Looks great in black!
