Rice is when a person takes a car that is normally plain looking and put a bunch of things on it to make it look faster, but without the car actually being any faster. Look here for a few examples. Hope this helps.

I know it originated from the a term "rice burner", which was specifically applied to japanese cars, anyone back me up on that or clarify it a bit?

well, rice rocket is a term given to souped up generally asian little cars. it generally aplies to ones that have only had cosmetic work done and are still crappy driving cars. this includes giant wings that dont work, fart-can exhaust(realy big calliper tips that are of no use), stickers, and crappy body kits.

i think that i could of understood if they had modified it well but that makes it 1,000,000 X worse than it was at the beginning and i dont see how people can do this to there cars and then think that it looks good

The term 'rice burner' origionated from the fact that the smell from fart-cannon exhausts smelt like burn rice. Then this got shortened to ricer, etc.

    Urban myth, I think.
Rice comes from the US slang for Jap cars which are tuned and modded.
If you've a source for the smell of rice comment, I'm happy to be re-educated.

bling can be a lot of things. most commonly it is used as "bling bling" which is a term for very flashy jewelry, like a watch, earings, or chain. bling can also be used to describe flashy rims.

From what I've read/heard, cars / bikes that comes out of Japan bear the slang word "rice", like rice rocket or rice burner. This has to do with that rice is one of the main diet the Japanese comsume everyday. That's also why nobody calls a heavily "modified" Audi (or any other European cars) riced, but the term "Tuned"

Similar to American's "muscle" cars...big engines, big hp...thus the term "muscle"
