    What's the best way...

... to sort out a scuff?

Someone at college yesterday rolled back while I was exiting a parking space, and I was coming out and scuffed her bumper. So I need to buff out the 'damage'. The 206 is fine (of course), I've already taken pretty much all the traded paint off. T-Cut much?

I already tried that one on Dad. He said that a Rover SD1 Vitesse Twin Plenum was a little excessive.

    But thanks.

I think that would be even worse than this SD1!

    Meh. MX-5 would be a choice, but it's a bit of a girl's car...

I love SD1's. If you want to buff out a scuff just polish it, my Dad rolled back down a bank up at the stables a few weeks ago and as the back of the car went down the blue VW popped into view and he stuffed the back bumper with on the VW's numberplate, just 1minute of polishing it and it dissapeard.

And dude! there is nothing wrong with MX-5's! If you'd like one a friends brother is selling a mk1 auto in banana yellow with alloys and a nasty wood interior and wheel. It does need a little work done though...

rubbing compound + polishing, then spray on way and polishing

T Cut is your cheap bet .. but be gentle and do it progressively as it is aggressive stuff. It's all too easy to go right through, depending on how soft/thin the paint is

It's a Peugeot. The body panels are as thick as the paint on a normal car. I'll be spraying her car on Monday, just a 6-inch patch.
