Hope you don't mind if I answer, you can use the Filter>Noise>Reduce Noise filter in CS2 or get a stand-alone program such as Noise Ninja.
Drakkie, I like the picture, but it is obviously and terribly edited. Go back to the original, and burn the sky evenly, you seem to have forgotten a few key spots, so take your time and get a better job editing, and save it. Enter the original in the competition.

i dont often reduce noise, but the way mp said sounds good, i also used noise ninja and other various freewares.
he can actually guarantee this, because as we all know photoshop can turn even a crap picture into a masterpiece

im sure there were people who won and cheated. if you were so sure, why didnt you call them on it? just because some people dont get caught speeding doesnt mean theyre not going to write you a ticket when you do.
and just because you wrote the rules doesnt mean you are totally familiar with them. you did try to enter it with a frame, which has always been a no no. and, we changed the rules, so that point is null anyway.
its possible that im wrong, if i am i am sorry. but ive never seen such an effect in nature, or in any other circumstance besides a poor dodge/burn or hdr treatment. if you shot raw, you can send a copy to a mod to prove it. if you shot jpeg, i dont know how to prove it is unedited. anyone have an idea? maybe we should just get ride of the rule against editing so that we dont have this issue
