Some of the proportions seem...off but overall I like it. I like the looks of these Volgas I definetely prefer this to the real 6 Series.

Another stunning re-intepretation of the 6 Series.

Beatifull car, i just don't like the rims, other than that it beats the original 6 in looks all the way, IMO obviusly.

Allways did love the 850/volga conversion, this is another of thoose dream cars

Love the styling, though I'd rather have the original without all the complex, expensive, and unreliable electronics that new cars have, without nasty plastic, and without the soulless way in which these cars operate.

I agree with both of you.

Well, BMW has released the info on the 2008 6-series and here it is, from Autoblog:

BMW released the details on the 2008 6-series today, and after wading through the lengthy press release, the only exterior changes we could come up with is a mildly revised fascia and LED taillamps. On the engineering side, BMW added a lane-departure warning system and a new electronic shifter with an optional Sport Automatic that blips the throttle when you grab the "-" paddle on the steering wheel. The new cost of entry for the 650i coupe is $76,375, while the 650i convertible comes in at a cool $83,475.
I always thought that the 6-series looked great from the front, and terrible form the back. I like the new(?) hood with dual ridges and I think the new front fascia looks good as well. Below are pics.

I personally think its ugly its a warped version of a lead sled and it just isnt working.
Lifts heavy things and hits hard......also eats as much as 2/3 people and sleeps 10 hours a day!

It is a divisive car - much like all of BMWs current lineup.

I will say it describes it nicely

    I actually don't mind the 7 series.

My beef with BMW is the E90 3-series (the E92 coupe and M3 is nice), the 5-series, and the ass of the 6-series and the pre-revision rear lights on the 7-series.

Basically my views. The 3 series sedan looks bland (especially the M3 version from the rear- it doesn't suit the car).

The 5 series is alright, but visually from the last version, I think it's not as great. It's still acceptable to me though.

The 6 series looks sleek, but I think it looks bloated. Still acceptable.

The facelifted 7 looks great though. The old one was ugly.

That and the headlights. It never worked. The headlights looked like an evolution of the previous generation, but it never flowed correctly, if you know what I mean.
