I always love these kind of Industrial shots ! They are pretty hard to come by (and to get into the plants), but can give great effects... Usually B&W works very well with it.

This weblog has some great shots of the German, Belgium and French heavy industry. I spent many hours to go through this great collection. It has also been a bit of inspiration for me.

    Is it a chroming plant?
He came dancing across the water
    With his galleons and guns
    Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun
    On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls

Chroming is normally dipped in a bath.
My next guess is that it can be galvanizing or some other rust preventing job of steel plates.

I've been there last year and although I don't give a s**t about art, it was cool to be there. You really get to see some great and famous works (Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo) and lots of other fantastic works. I wasn't there long and didn't see all of it, but I enjoyed my visit

It's so large that it's almost impossible to see every single piece of art exposed in the Louvre, unless you spend a whole month in the museum...
