Hey everyone,
we have out other favourite car topics so, i thought i make one on Lotus's.
I love the BEAUTIFUL Lotus Elite. Its made of pure fibreglass so its as light as a feather. Its powered by a conventry climax engine, formaly used in firepumps in the 50's. Only 1,000 were built so they are very valuble. Typical prices are from £25,35,000.
I'm also a fan of the early Lotus Elan which my dad formally owned. The lotus Esprit V8 is also on my list

BUT the outright beaut is the Elan Sprint ..... love the colours

I love the Gold leaf colours, a ciggarette company that sponsered Lotus
My dad's Elan was a coupe with a Yellow and white paintjob. I'l see if i can scan a few pics in sometime

The Lotus 49 is one of my favourite F1 cars of all time.
