Whatever was wrong with the #8 car it seems to have been patched up and is back out lapping at a decent pace. Up to 9th from 13th in a fairly short space of time.

I'm beggining to doubt Peugeot is any threat to Audi's victory. Car #8 is 7 laps down in 9th and car #7 is three laps down in third but clearly off the Audi's pace.Originally Posted by henk4

maybe they will try to perform a "Monza" where the car was 3 laps down halfway the race then did the remainder flat-out to finish third.

for the fastest lap times. The Audi's clearly have hidden their hand during practice. They seem way faster than the Peugeots, and at least the N°8 Peugeot is NOT faking...

1. I think the safety car is on because the Audi of Werner hit Jan Lammers' Corvette and bodywork went out on the track. I think.
