yep, my mistake it the #8 that has fallen back, and still is....Villeneuve does not seem to keep up with the pace as well...

Whatever was wrong with the #8 car it seems to have been patched up and is back out lapping at a decent pace. Up to 9th from 13th in a fairly short space of time.

I'm beggining to doubt Peugeot is any threat to Audi's victory. Car #8 is 7 laps down in 9th and car #7 is three laps down in third but clearly off the Audi's pace.

Honourable mention for the #007 works Aston Martin, first in class and tenth overall so far.

maybe they will try to perform a "Monza" where the car was 3 laps down halfway the race then did the remainder flat-out to finish third.

    Look at:
    http://www.lemans.org/24heuresdumans...hronos_fr.html
for the fastest lap times. The Audi's clearly have hidden their hand during practice. They seem way faster than the Peugeots, and at least the N°8 Peugeot is NOT faking...

Does anyone know why the Safety Car is out?

The #007 Aston is up to 8th.

But according to the official site the safety car is out now. Why? What has happened?

EDIT The live timing on the official site is gone...

EDIT2 Live timing is back on again.

    1. I think the safety car is on because the Audi of Werner hit Jan Lammers' Corvette and bodywork went out on the track. I think.

    2. Crap. Listen to Radio Le Mans!
