    The idiots continue

After all the turmoil created by the participants in the Gumball Race, the idiots have struk again. Last night the police in Germany stopped a car race on the motorway A3 (Between the Dutch border and Oberhausen, a stretch also known as the Oberhausen Straight, not so heavily used and many Dutch try to find out the topspeed of their vehicles there).
Fifteen cars, all carrying racing numbers were doing all sorts of dangerous driving and were taken off the road. It should be noted that this part of the German motorways is not governed and therefore they could not be stopped because of high speeds, but apparently they performed enough other illegal actions to convince the police that it was safer to remove them.
The cars apparently had started in London and were on their way to Switzerland (?).

The fools probably don't realise that their actions will only bring the overall governing of the maximum speeds much closer.

Correct. They were driving London > Amsterdam > Köln (Cologne) > Prague > Vienna > Lyon > Geneva.

I just think it's fabulous they finally found a way to get these idiots. I just hope others change their minds now.

Driving fast should be fine once in a while, but these kind of organised things are just insane !!! These "competitors" behave like little unresponsible 14 year olds !

Let's hope German Olga with the Mustache does her job interrogating them properly

Well despite all their speeding and erratic driving not that many people have died and hardly any bystanders have been harmed...

I'm all for these organized races and such because they allow exotics to really stretch their legs, but if they cause accidents and become a danger to people in general, aren't they breaking the law? So technically if anything happens, isn't the organizer of the race responsible? Either way, even if nothing happens (i.e. accidents, crashes, etc.), the cars still break speed limits and stuff. So these organizers are actually instigating rule breaking. So how come the police doesn't shut them down?

How often do cops flout laws in high powered sports cars with little to no driver training and a mentality that they can buy their way out of trouble?

    Right.... that is soo true.

Um... not even cops are allowed to run at 100mph on public roads whenever they want to.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
