I love it. 2002 reborn. Small, tidy, powerful and economic if they put the new turbo diesel in it. You know it will handle beautifully. And it won't break the bank as much as the 3-series.

it will still be ptricey, it shouldnt be trying to compete directly with basic focuses and astras

I quite like the front of it, and overall looking like the Korean and Japanese cars that it is suppose to compete against either. I think I'd take it over the similar Kia or Hyundai.

you know.. we americans didnt take to kindly to the 318tii, but with smaller cars more common these days, it is possible. but i really do not see it succeeding at all really. probably follow the same path.

Unsurprisingly, all the limelight is put on the range-topping 135i Coupe. With the powerful engine and M Sports package including stiff suspensions, 6-pot front brake calipers

So they've finally gotten over only having 1- or 2- piston brake packages even on their fastest cars. About time.

I know this "Full sized" term, I've heard it used before to describe some of your vehicles. For those of us who speak English (as opposed to American) did you mean a Grossly obese adult, by 'full sized'?

I'm wondering about any improved practicality, i'm guessing in this form it will be even more cramped in rear/boot space. Americans must buy it for the badge if this is just reasoning.

I actually like the way it looks more than any other Bangle BMW I have seen yet (assuming those photos are true to reality). It is a replacement for what the 3 series was 10 years ago light(er), fast, and fun. As far as I see it the current 3 is where the 5 was many years ago and the 7 is just enormous. But how much smaller will it actually be in reality?

It aint pretty, but the 135 will be a proper driver's car no doubt. I think I like it.

The 2002 successor indeed. I am very excited about this car. Maybe one day I could own a 135i coupe.
