Heidfeld stuck it up the inside and was as far over as possible - Ralph knew he was there and slammed the door leaving Heidfeld nowhere to go.

It wasn't a hopeless "Sato" up the inside from a mile back, and I think that having people punished for attempting to overtake is stupid.

It is bad enough that the aero of the cars makes it impossible for the cars to get close - but when they finally manage to get close enough to make an attempt, with the possibility that they will get docked points - they won't bother.

It was until Michael Schumacher did it, then it wasn't.

Of course, as ther car was running then it was abel to then move to away froim the danger area. If it was not running then it woudl have been towed to safety -- as the other cars were.
Hamilton was there with 5 other drivers, yet only his car got lifted back to the track. I don't remember any other driver being helped this way in this or previous season. It looks to me like a case of severe favouritism.
Because their cars weren't running/safe perhaps

But, like Wouter said earlier in this thread, it's only because of freak incidents and plagues of accidents. I enjoyed the race, but I'd love to see a dry GP with overtaking reminiscent of that in Alonso/Massa with 3 laps to go.

I have to agree with this.

I mean it was very questionable when I saw it in the first place.
