Exactly. Nothing on the exterior will even remotely be on the final car.
These are AMG engineers which means they're just testing the engine. HWA will be the folks responsible for the final design.

Most Mercs are dull anyway. It's, erm... a very interesting mule. The ugliest mule I have ever seen in fact. Oh well, I know it's only a testbed for the engine. Even though I'm quite sure it's going to be another boring Mercedes project I'm kinda willing to know more.

Probably due to the previous DiamlerChrysler deal, and thought a Viper would be better for testing the engine than using a Mercedes.QFT. i am curious as to why they're using a viper as a mule
