    there's many threads about this.......
i'd choose a turbocharger just cause its more efficient than a supercharger.....and with that variable geometry turbo you could lower the lag of a turbo.
tho a lynsolm supercharger is not so bad....boost by ~1000rpm's.

Turbo, more drama. Faster than a supercharger when it kicks in (I think).

supercharger adds HP to the car when it starts but turbo, you have to wait for it to kick in... so i'm not really sure if turbo really owns the supercharger

But Superchargers start to lose out in the high RPM's and not all Turbo's have huge amounts of lag so you can feel it right away. I don't think either is necessarily better but personally I like turbo's better.

Supercharger. I like the noise and I like the power straight away. However, the amount of lag is slowly being reduced as technology advances so the latter will no longer be an issue so then Id go for a Turbo. But I really really like supercharger whine in certain cars.

New turbos have left just a little turbo lag. So no long waiting for the kick.
Anyway... why one turbo? Get rid of the turbo lag with two and more turbos.

    both has their advantages
id take a turbo because it has a higher capacity to produce power since boost comes non linearly with rpms and turbo lag can easily be eliminated with proper gear ratios/shifting or twin scroll or twin turbo parrellel setup

Wasn't there a Lancia group B rally car that had both?

    I'd go for N/A personally.
