    novoice

Under your name there is novoice. How do you change that.

I am new at this if you can tell.

    It says, Novice, not novoice.

It changes as your post count goes up or you can purchase a paid subscription via your user CP and put in whatever you wish.

No problem. Once you get over a couple posts, it should change.

    Just remember, quality over quantity.

Well, seeing as you're new at this, "novice" seems an apt description. "Novice" comes from the Latin "novus," which means new .

If you want a custom user title, you only get those if you're a supporting member, which means you're a paying subscriber. UCP is totally free, but if you're willing to pay, you do get bonuses (no advertisements, larger avatar, custom user title, use of UCP motorpool, VIP access to the hottest clubs in Amsterdam (and, oddly, Bujumbura), etc.). If you're on a budget, the only way to change your user title is to post more (however, a "novice" who makes quality posts will be more appreciated than a "member" who constantly spouts off whatever inane thought happens to pop into their head while sitting at a keyboard).

Nice to see another person studying Latin out there. I used to study Latin. My teacher thought he was Caesar. And he still does.

I'm not studying Latin; I just know a smattering of common word roots, many of which come from Latin. I like words.

Dude ! I used to have it on high school (or the Dutch equivalent of it) for four years. I failed miserably in it, because of many reasons and hated it to death I dropped it in favour of classic Greek, in which I was so much better. My teacher was more like Caligula. Crazy. With this class I also went to Rome, a very nice experience.
