    Sports Cars $100K +

The sophistication of the R8? The elegance of the V8 Vantage? The power of the 911 Turbo? Or the athleticism of the 911 GT3 RS?

    No GT-R? No Z06

    I jest, I jest.

But in reality, I'll have the sophistication and balance of the R8.

R8, with a certain new engine...

You are aware it won't be the R8 anymore?

I won't like the name R10. So not sexy.

Lets save that to compare to the F430, Gallardo and DBS.

The GT3RS is probably too uncompromising for an everyday car.

The R8 while a fine car leaves me completely cold.

The 911 Turbo, I quite like it but I personally think that the 911 Carrera S is a better deal.

The V8 Vantage is Aston's Boxster, but on the other hand it is the best looking. And what a sound...

How about the Jaguar XKR? That's a pretty sweet ride. However, it's related to the V8 Vantage. I'd choose the Vantage any day.

Of this bunch, I'd have to take the 911 Turbo. The GT3 maybe. The RS, no way. Not unless you go to the track way too often to justify buying a seperate car for the track.

I like the R8, but the Turbo would walk all over it. 911 Carrera S vs. the R8 would be more fair. But hands down, the R8 is better looking. Now if it had that huge diesel engine....

Again the V8 Vantage is outgunned if the Turbo was included. So, Turbo it is.

In the US in dollars these cars are all about $130K to $145K. What's shocking to me is that in the US these cars are still priced in accordance with a strong dollar.

Porsches are great but theyve now become boring with those beetle headlights.

I may be the only one here who doesnt like the Vantage. ive seen it in real and it it doesnt stir me. the front is too chubby for my liking.

The R8 it is, there no car like it and it performs very well too.

I think it has to do with European market cars being charged with higher taxes than US market cars, also.

I rather like the new headlights; in fact I think the 997 Carrera might be the best looking 911 since the 60s (993 Carerra S aside). What I DO NOT LIKE is the front bumper on the 911 Turbo. Those little wing blinkers in the twin grills? YUCK! Not crazy about the wheels either.

Which means that they are actually cheaper than they should be.....
Prices in Germany range from 153k (R8) to 206k (turbo)

Have you seen the 997 Turbo in person? I love the look of it, the low stance just makes it so aggressive and sexy. Turbo for me.

According to my currency converter 206K Euros is about 305K Dollars, about what you can pick up a 599 GTB for. We're so spoiled in this country. Dare I ask what a 599 GTB goes for in Euros?
