    How to get this effect?

Hey guys, i never cease to be amazed by your photography, so i was hoping you could help me. i found this picture by John Vic on interfacelift:

can anybody tell me how to get this effect? he said he used a nikon d70 and photoshop. i just recently got cs3 and have been aching to play around with it, but does anybody have any ideas as far as where to start? thanks!

Maybe try to use Filter --> Blur --> Radial Blur --> Zoom?

Is there a manual mode or one that you can adjust the shutter speed?

Long exposure paired with zooming the lens. Keeps the focus in one spot.

Not "ding ding ding". The photographer said he used Photoshop. Ecnelis's reply was correct, it's just a radial/zoom blur in this case.

Either methods are ways to achieve the effect, but in this case it was Photoshop blurring. I'd recommend experimenting with both.
i was waiting on a moment, but the moment never came. all the billion other moments, were just slipping all away. i must have been tripping, we're just slipping all away. just ego tripping.
