    so if it has no warranty what happens if the suspension falls off? or something perhaps a little more likely, if the engine blows up? does he have to buy another?

    If you can afford to pay $1 million for a car, you'll probably be able to fix things like that.

    You cannot put a warranty on a car that hasn't been built yet.
