If you're about the opinions, I'd tell you that if you're looking for a cheap car, maybe it's a good choice -Honda's engines are seriously long-livers, still I would think about how long would it keep up.

No pics. I sent the seller an email.
I'm not going to drive an hour and a half to go look at a car that could be a piece of sh1t, so I must see pics before I consider.

The price is nice, but I'm afraid it may have a marked or salvage title

I'd be extremely wary about buying that car.

Considering the "ricer" culture in the 'States together with the fact that that car's been modified and the amount of miles (and potential owners) behind it, it's a recipe for a knackered, oil-burning wreck.

If however you can verify the condition of the mechanicals, ignore the above.

1991 Acura Integra mentioned before is now $2000.
Seriously considering it. My parents like the price...
However, the earliest I can go look at it is Wednesday

Go offer 1750 cash for it. Skip the wheels for now.

Pretty much what my parents think.
They payed $1750 for my brother's 1990 Toyota Corolla...

I have $550 of my own money, that I've been holding onto just in case, so I guess I could spend it how I want now
    (stereo, PS3...maybe not PS3, I need a larger TV...)

We're probably going to take a look at this intriguing Audi 4000CS Quattro as well

I'd stay away from those audi's. That 550 bucks you have right now won't cover any major repair on it. My father lost thousands on a 1993 90 cs because the head gasket went, exhaust was shot, and the sun roof leaked like a bastard.

    Yeah...
I just need to find a few things to look at, because my dad doesn't really want to drive 2 and a half hours to look at 1 car

edit: Though I might add that about 1993 is when Audi quality took a turn for the worse.
I asked around on AudiWorld about the 4000CS Quattro and a lot of people have them and love them, excellent reliability and such, and I was given a list of what to watch for.

Here's what Kelly Blue Book had to say about the Acura Integra
    Excellent
    $2,320

    Good
    $1,970

    Fair
    $1,575

I've got some '93 Integra parts to sell, if you'd like some!

I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
