    Just letting you guys know, I think the cars in the last picture in post 15, I think all of post 16, and 17 were also called the Mazda Protege.

    In the States, but that doesn't mean it was called the Protege everywhere.

    Has all the names. Its amazing how many the Familia has had. According to the wiki:
    1000, 1200, 1300, 800, 808, 818, 323, 323 Astina, GLC, Protege, Etude, Familia, Grand Familia, Mizer, MR90, Baby Boomers, Vantrend, Sao Penza, Rustler, Lantis, Allegro, Genki

    It also is the base for the Ford Laser and Meteor in Asia/Australia and the Ford Escort and Mercury Tracer in north america, S. Africa the Ford Tonic, Ford Bantam(truck), Eunos 100, Philippines as the Ford Lynx, and China the Haima Family.

    Actually that one was in Indonesia. They had Mazda MR90[hatchback: 1990-1992], Mazda Baby Boomers [Hatchback: 1992-1994], and Vantred [Station Wagon: 1993-1997]
