2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Spotted Testing In California Desert.

spy photographers over the weekend captured batch of photos showcasing the forthcoming 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class. In the picture, the future E-Class still remains heavily disguised,I personally don't like it...

    I looks old already.

But there's no problem. There's the CLS.

    Yes.

It looks too german. French cars should look and feel french

And the ad for this car is even worse.

OK, I'll give you a rear view. Haven't you seen those lights before? (and yes it is much more comfy than an Audi...)

I'm sorry Pieter, but the front of the new C5 is just FUGLY. It's got a stupid, bulbous front overhang that gives the impression that the headlights and bonnet are higher than the boot and rear lights. I mentioned this on another thread, but that was before the car was launched. I've now been in one and still feel the same. The rest of the car is really nice but that front-end...no thanks!

I realise my C4 has a large front-end but at least it doesn't have a gaping "mouth" grille on the front like some kind of wierd, exotic fish that's currently enduring a chainsaw enema. The C5's isn't in proportion with the rest of the car.

I did not say that I liked the car, I only mentioned it in the context of q-man's remark that he likes European cars, and then only mentions the three usual suspects from Germany....(and Peugeot 407 is certainly more disproportionate than a C5...)

Peugeot should stop trying to design their cars and go back to Pininfarina again.

Lol that's fine - I wasn't meaning my comments to be interpreted as some form of personal attack. I was just remembering our discussion about "big nosed" cars from a while back. And yes, the 407 is one of the worst "offenders".

But yes, it's a shame about the front-end of the C5, because the rest of the car's very good!
